Our collective experience includes

• The chair has been visiting men in prison for 29 years and has chaired the Bond Trust from foundation. He was a manager in very large companies for 25 years and has led his own business for 32 years. He has recently been awarded CEO of the year for Asia Pacific in the business sector in which he operates.                                                                                                                                

• A social scientist doctorate with research and practice interests in the domains of social justice, in particular poverty and inequality; prison, reintegration and crime prevention; restorative justice; and intimate partner violence.                                                                                                           

• A counsellor who has worked in the Statutory and NGO field supporting individuals and family whanau navigate a range of challenges.                                                                                                         

• Involvement in Prison Chaplaincy and the fostering of children, engaged with a group of like-minded individuals who share a vision of restoring the most unlikely people (prisoners) back to wholeness.                                                                                                                              

• Another with experience in both a voluntary and paid capacity running projects for the children of prisoners and then the reintegration of prisoners back into the community.                                                                                                                                  

• And in an advisory capacity, a psychologist with experience in working with prisoners and mental health patients.
